SelfEmployed due to a back injuy, I teach CPR & First Aid classes, referee soccer for TSSAA and USSF, I am a USSF "D" Licensed Soccer coach.
I have two books in publication. The first, "On The Scene" takes a look at the interpersonal relationships between a high profile news personality and a highly skilled paramedic with real life emergency calls as a back drop.
The second, "Hummer: Flight to Freedom" is scifi dealing with genetics, mutations and the natural evolutionary process given an acceleration by wellmeaning researchers. |
My family:
I have three grown sons. The oldest is 30. He lives just outside of Murfreesboro and works for Murfreesboro Parks and Rec. He has been married a few years and has three wonderful dogs. The second is 27 (almost) and is a Murfreesboro Police Officer. He has been married now for about four years and gave us our first grandchild in January. The third is 24 (almost) and travels extensively. He works with teens at YMCA camps, writes and dabbles in documentaries.
The youngest two are girls and one graduates Blackman High school this year. Her sister is a senior next year. Both girls have excelled in soccer at high levels. |
Life experiences:
The birth of my children had to be some of my greatest experiences topped only by the arrival of the first grandson this year.
Ive been fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time to save a few patients whose time was not yet up. One of those calls inspired me to write "On The Scene". Ive been on Rescue 911 which featured one of our most dramatic efforts to save the live of a hero who passed inspite of our efforts.

My favorite things in school:
My favorite things in high school were the mornings I got to spend with some very close and dear friends in the band room as we frantically studied (yeah, right) for tests, caught up on whatever happened after school the day before or practiced dilligently on our instruments (Mr. Meers will read this, right?).
Of course, the band trips were the best, especially when we performed well. |
My favorite things now:
I love cars and you will probably find me at the Friday Night CruiseIn at the Avenue in Murfreesboro with eitehr my 1984 F150, my 1985 Monte Carlo or showing off my 06 Frontier.
If Im not there, I might be at a book signing or a meet the author night somewhere around Middle Tennessee. |
My favorite books, movies and music:
Top Gun is one of my all time favorites, Ladder 49, Mission Impossible, Star Trek (ALL OF THEM), Indiana Jones, Star Wars ( before JarJar ). My favorite books: Anything by Stephen King, John Grisham, James Patterson or Robin Cook. I also like Robert Ludlums books and Scott Westerfelds Uglies Trilogy. If it reads well, I like it. Twilight was a good book, not too bad of a movie either. Music is country, classic rock, Elton John, Beatles, ect. |
